The Magic leaf by Mary Feliciani

I've always loved reading children's books and seriously who doesn't like to browse through beautifully illustrated books and sweet stories? I definitely do!

So here is a book that will definitely satisfy someone's inner child.

Author Mary Feliciani kindly shared this enchanting book of her's recent with me and I really loved it and I hope you all will too!

'The book is about a small-town boy who learns the value of friendship. A medieval, Italian town named Roseto serves as the backdrop. The beautiful and colourful illustrations – all done in paper collage style – depict different parts of the town and journey. Although, the story unfolds in a different time and place, the message is universal and timeless.'

It is a short story about a boy who realizes the miracles of friendship while going to work with his friend one day.

The story is simple yet very nicely written.

The illustrations however are the main attraction of this book alongside the story which will en capture the children’s attention.
The amount of effort that was put into making them is remarkable and I really enjoyed reading them. I would recommend this book for children  any day of the week.

I’ve included some illustrations from the book to show how good they really are.
