Here I've listed some taboos in dating world which a girl aught to break.When it comes to dating there is no rule book and no one actually made these we just assumed these were taboos.Really girls break these and make your horizons much larger. Why should you be limited by these boundaries in finding love? Really just STOP. Let yourself fly and have the time of your life, you only get one life after all.

1.   How can I date someone who is opposite of me in every way?

You definitely can. Girls mostly try to find compatibility in their relationships but it is very true that often times the person they start liking will have nothing in common with them. This is where the saying opposite attracts apply. Human beings are very weird in this case. Our brain always try to find someone who is vastly opposite than us solely because it is trying to complete us by matching us with someone who have different abilities than us, it is kind of like two halves making a whole. Lots of times girls run away from their perfect life partner because they fear that their differences in long run will fail their relationships but in reality it will only make it stronger.

2.      Splitting the bill makes him a person who respects women

Sorry ladies for bursting your bubbles but this thought is entirely incorrect. Most of the cases those persons are cheapskates and aren’t much invested in relationship. Mostly they are selfish and do not value you much. If a guy listens to you rambling and ranting for a few hours at the middle of a weekday night where he himself had less than 3 hours sleep for 2 days then that is a guy who respects and values you AND IS 100% committed to you.

3.      Guys need to be taller than girls, (Otherwise how am I going to wear my high heels with him in public! *GASP OF HORROR*)

Really, girls it is genetic. Blame his genes, not him. It is just not in his hands. Besides at the end of your journey when you are 80 years old what would you prefer? A taller husband who cheated on you at every turn or God forbid getting divorced 5 times in your life or a partner who stayed with you through thick and thin and everything in between, always supporting you and still holding your hand at the ripe age of 80 while watching sunrise together? Choose wisely.

   

4. Making Contact with a guy first.

Why not? In a day and age where men and women are equal it is not at all out of the norm. In fact nowadays women are the ones who mostly initiates the first contact and these relationships are very successful. A lot of my friends have done that and their relationship is going strong as ever.

    

5.  That colleague is hot and our chemistry is undeniable but it can never be.

Okay, there is this pitfall that if you date your co-worker and then you guys break up it will get awkward for you two but what if that guy is your soul-mate? What if that guy is the one who will be your Mr. Right? Life is too short,so take a chance. Don’t let mundane and small obstacles stop you from finding love, don’t let any obstacles stop you,period.
