The Trade by Ashlyn Hope

Saddie knows next to nothing about football. She is the kind of girl who does not go night clubbing or partying, she would much rather be curled up in her room with a blanket, a book and a steaming cup of coffee. But when a stranger named Kelly from another department literally drags her to a nightclub after work ,granted to say she isn't much amused.
She finds that even though the VIP section is pretty different still she does not enjoy it. Just when she is planning her escape a person literally runs into her, making her champagne spill all over her dress.
When Saddie looks up she is enchanted by the most stunning pair or blue eyes she has ever seen.
Martin , even though he is a football player is vastly different from other players. He hates night clubs too and he would much prefer staying home and watching 'Doctor Who' than partying.
Saddie finds instant connection with him. But is he too good to be real or she just got very very lucky?

On the otherhand Kelly had a little crush on Martin and when she sees Saddie with him, lets just say she is burning in fires of jealousy.
High school drama ensures (Frankly speaking I found Kelly very immature and childish).
Throughout the story Saddie felt like a very naive kind of girl and I couldn't identify with her mood swings and emotions at all. Martin was just too perfect. He was so perfect infact that I felt as if he was someone imaginary.  Humans aren't that perfect . So I'm sorry to say but his character just wasn't realistic enough for me. I'm sure lots of people will like him (him being perfect and all). But it just didn't do anything for me.
But it was a sweet read. No ups and downs or emotional drama/melodrama.

Anyone wanting to pass a few hours reading light romance should consider it.
