Author Leslie Rule  does not have the answers to these questions but what she has is a wonderful book filled with accounts of them, painstakingly collected and told by her. Leslie Rule does not tell 'stories' but makes a very in depth research of every cases. She gives facts and leaves it for the readers to draw their own conclusions. The various encounters experienced here by numerous people shows us that maybe there is a world beyond our world which we know nothing about. But it exists and has existed from time immemorial,side by side with our world.

The incidents described by author Leslie Rule in Ghost in the mirror is very informative and comprehensive. For most cases she gives a thorough historical background to help her readers understand the experiences of the eyewitnesses.  Ghost in the mirror is not a compilation of horror stories.

Noone will ever be frightened the way one happens to be after watching "Conjuring" or  "The Ring" . Yet it leaves a chill which one can only experience when being told a real account of an incident which is outside the realm of science and thus our understanding. I applaud her for taking such troubles as to do such detailed investigation about every case and for producing this great book. Moreover it is filled with blackand white pictures of these places which makes the stories more graphic and lively. It doesn't hurt that they are quite intriguing in their own right and exudes a mysterious aura of their own. Her easy writing style and interesting way of story telling makes the readers feel as if she is having a conversation with them, which in turn drags them deeper into the stories simultaneously creating an atmosphere of relaxation and ease. 'Ghost in the Mirror ' is a fit read for any person belonging to any age group. It makes an interesting read even for those least interested in paranormal phenomenon.
